I dunno, while I get what you’re saying, I think the structure and narrative format of Bojack was really different than most “adult cartoons” I’ve seen. It was incredibly character-driven and story-driven, and it all culminated in an ending that brought back everything from the entire series into the light. I can’t really think of another American adult cartoon that’s done what Bojack did, but maybe there are ones I’m not thinking of. Samurai jack season 5 and primal is my new bar for animated adult television in the west. I feel like often to watch adult animated content, you either have to be a big anime fan or enjoy a lot of family guy type “haha cartoons cussing” comedies. Animation allows for more impressive spectacle, maybe, but with the right director and choreographer, live-action fight scenes are pretty top-notch. Look at the church scene from Kingsmen or pretty much all of Merantau. Also, the schedule for animated movies and shoes shouldn’t be rush because they would have multiple animation errors like Dragon Ball Super. They had little to no time to fix any mistakes in Super because the schedule was to tight. The animation isn’t cheap as some people really think it is. It was one of the Spider-Man Ferme Ta Gueule Je Compte Shirt only movies I saw in theaters that year, and I went back for a second time. The sound design is incredible when the Prowler theme kicked in the whole theater jumped. People next to me kept muttering things like “this shit is dope.” I would pay a good amount of money to see it in theaters again.

Absolutely. I think this is the major point that needs to be highlighted. The police are citizens, not gods. They need to obey the exact same laws as everyone else. I’m talking from cell phone use while driving and speeding to assault and murder. Cops are US citizens and need to be held to US law just like every other citizen.
