And not that much better than being shot once with an actual bullet – quantity really matters. The only saving grace here is that police aren’t toting around 10+ round semi-automatic rubber bullet launchers, because if those were a thing you’d better believe they’d fire until empty like they do with real firearms, and there’d be far less difference between rubber bullets and real bullets.No there’s another video of a firefighter/medic helping at the I’m Sory, Did I Roll My Eyes Out Loud Shirt protests and the cops shot a kid in the base of the skull with one of their LTL weapons, not sure which kind. The kid is in a bad way and they beg the cops to help him, the cops say bring him to us if you want him to be treated so the medic does, then they shoot everyone including the medic. The medic had his hands up and they kept shooting him until they permanently disabled his hands, he has massive tendon/joint/bone injuries in his hands now.
Which is why we’ve seen so many eye injuries. And the saddest part is, you’re only getting a headshot on a stationary target, so they aren’t aiming at people rioting. None of them are likely to work against direct impacts. The problem isn’t even going to be the round itself. If goggles directly on your face are hit with that kind of I’m Sory, Did I Roll My Eyes Out Loud Shirt force, they are either going to shatter or they’ll hold together, but transfer the force straight into your eye. Safety goggles are designed to protect against small pieces of debris… not things that have enough force to crack a skull or pop and eyeball if they hit you directly. That force has to go SOMEWHERE and protective gear can’t trump physics. Yeah, I see these incidents every day, in multiple cities over and over and I gotta wonder if they know everyone has a camera now and can record everything they’re doing why continue to do it so brazenly? The only answer is that they want people to see this. They want us to be scared of them, to never question them, and definitely not try to protest against them or their masters.
