As a TA for a university, I almost always caught plagiarism from a Chinese student when there’s one. In graduate school, I had a class where we had a presentation and had to give a printout of our PowerPoint to the professor and classmates. Probably. I can’t tell you how many students met the near-impossible criteria to fail any of my classes–you either had to miss (not a bomb, miss) the final exam and/or miss over a third of the classes. If you showed up and dicked on your phone, you would at least pass with 70%.
